RISING leased two flights to deliver relief supplies to Sichuan

Following a 7.8 Richter scale earthquake that hit Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province in southwest China on May 12, Chinese anti-virus software Vendor-- Rising has donated RMB1 million to help the relief immediately.

After the donation, on May 16, in order to speed up the transport of relief supplies, Rising instantly contacted with the Hainan Airlines Co., Ltd., leased two charter flights a day to deliver relief supplies to Sichuan disaster areas. In addition to transport the donors of materials from Rising, partners and donors of materials from netizens, two charter flights will also assume the Ministry of Health, Red Cross Society of China's emergency aid delivery mission.

Rising scheduled charter aircraft are Boeing 737-800 and Airbus 330 or Boeing 767, the total daily capacity is about 13 tons. We call upon my colleagues in the industry, enthusiastic netizens donate the need of supplies for disaster areas, including blankets, tents, convenience food, clothing, moisture (rain) pads, etc. (not to accept contributions in cash). Moreover, disaster areas need urgently the medicines and medical equipment, and other special materials, if such items donated by individuals and businesses, donors can call the hotline.

Rising charter delivery has start since May 17, set out 7.00am in the morning and 5.0pm in the afternoon Separately.
